  • Overview

    To provide technical support by developing, maintaining, and reporting on project controls programs using Deltek, Primavera 6 (P6), Microsoft Project in support of our headquarter office in Melbourne, Florida.

    Responsibilities

    • Development of fully resourced and cost loaded project programs using client work breakdown structure against data provided by the project management team.
    • Provide progress updates as required by each Project Manager in accordance with work instructions and to create reports on cost and schedule.
    • Issue standardized performance reports, such as Earned Value, Cash Flow, SPI, CPI, EAC, and Cost Control Analysis.
    • Identify key variances on the project programs and present the data in the form of reports & graphs to the Project Manager.
    • Provide critical path analysis, trend forecasts up to 3, 6 and 12 months look ahead and support to detailed cost and schedule reviews.
    • Provide prompt and accurate information to the Project Manager to facilitate the project / program trend information.
    • Liaise internally with Accounting and with sub‐contractors, collate progress information and update the project program.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in Project Controls as a Project Planner/Scheduler/Estimator.
    • Experience and background required within design, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering.
    • Formal training in Primavera 6 and/or MS Project preferred.
    • Proficient user of all Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel.
    • Knowledge of cost estimating and quantity takeoffs.
    • Experience in cost estimating software/programs preferred, but not required. 
    • Must be authorized to work in the US.
