The Interior Designer will have experience at Level III with substantial knowledge of construction document production. Individual initiates technical research. Coordinates construction installation review. Ability to work in all phases of small to medium sized projects and / or specialized phase of large, complex projects in support our headquarters office in Melbourne, Florida.
Supervision / Management duties & responsibilities
Maintain and monitor project profitability
Marketing duties & responsibilities
Participates in marketing efforts and client presentations when requested
Maintain client relationships and develop new revenues through continuing services.
Active member in a professional trade organization
Contract duties & responsibilities
General knowledge of preparation and use of interior design / architectural contracts.
Identify modifications of project scope as described in the legal contract and pursue additional services when acceptable.
Must be proficient in the use of:
Microsoft Excel and Word
Must gain experience in the use of: Adobe CS Suite
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a FIDER accredited four-year college or university, or Two-year degree in Interior Design from a FIDER accredited college or university. Minimum 4 years professional experience within the Interior Design/Architectural field.
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Meet qualifications for taking the NCIDQ exam.
