SUMMARY:
Individual can provide leadership in design direction and strategy, develop functional requirements and project-design criteria for a wide variety of building types and design complexities. Requires substantial knowledge of design and planning principles, building and planning code requirements, specifications preparation and negotiation. Individual directs work efforts of others, develops detailed design concepts, produces contract documents, interprets ordinances, and communicates client needs. Works directly with clients on projects of any size. Tackles more complex space planning challenges, optimizing functionality and flow in various environments. Integrates sustainable design principles and practices into projects where applicable. Ability to identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes. There is a focus on recruiting, training, and building a cohesive design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio environment. Contribute to business development efforts by networking, participating in client pursuits, and preparing proposals.
